This week is Dementia Action Week and Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust are out and about visiting a variety of venues around the county.
They are visiting local libraries to hold Reminiscence Tea Parties - this is an opportunity to talk about your favourite memories over tea and cake, and also join in a fun craft activity. See the poster below for dates.
They will also have a stall at Gloucester City Farmers' Market on Friday 17th May, 9am to 3pm, where you can come along to find out how you can increase activity and social connections and reduce your risk of developing dementia. Again, more details on the poster below.
Finally, they hope to collate as much information as they can about dementia awareness and services in the county through their annual Dementia Action Week Survey. If you have experience of dementia, they would really appreciate your input. It will only take a few minutes, so please click here to access the online survey.
