The increasing pressure on urgent and emergency care services is widely reported, nationally and locally. Healthwatch England has found this is negatively affecting patient experience and people are losing confidence in these vital services.
Healthwatch Gloucestershire is your independent health and social care champion. HW want to find out what you know about the different types of urgent and emergency care services available in Gloucestershire, and how you use these services. HW want to hear about your experiences of using urgent and emergency care to learn what works well and what could be done differently to help you get the care you need when you need it. HW will use your feedback to help NHS Gloucestershire understand how to support local people to get the right care, at the right time, from the right service.
You can share your experience with HW via survey, post, telephone, email or group visits. The survey opens on Monday 6th November 2023 and will close around Christmas time. By listening to your experience, HW can build a clear picture of how urgent and emergency care services operate and offer recommendations to stakeholders to improve these services.
