All Nations Community Centre (ANCC) have an exciting range of opportunities for individuals who are passionate about heritage and community and volunteer involvement and participation. Working as part of a Committee (Directors) within All Nations Social Club (ANCC’s Trading Subsidiary Arm) or ANCC these positions will see you work closely with community volunteers on a range of areas specific to your skills to help with community engagement and programmes that will contribute towards the future vision and success of the centre.


A volunteering role, for anyone willing to dedicate and contribute their professional expertise and skills to support ANCC in furtherance of its charitable objects. You will be required to deliver on the centre’s values and behaviours to ensure a high-quality experience and service. You will work with others to develop ideas through, sharing, listening and taking a joined-up approach. You will bring enthusiasm and creativity to the role.


What ANCC are looking for…

We want to ‘do things differently, see things differently and enhance our local remit; you’ll work with a diverse range of people to develop new and existing relationships. You will work in partnership with local communities, statutory and voluntary/community organisation.


The ideal person(s)

  • Will have good understanding about the duties and liabilities of being a registered officer.

  • A willingness to commit the necessary time and effort to support and fulfil role duties and responsibilities.

  • Strong leadership skills, with confidence and the ability to contribute professionally at monthly meetings.

  • Good independent judgement with the ability to think creatively, with sound business or community vision.

  • Excellent communication (both written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.

  • Professional demeanour with the ability to build rapport with others and enjoys working as part of a wider team.


Advantageous skill set

  • Individuals who can demonstrate they have a strong business-related background in any of the following disciplines; finance/accountancy/marketing/human resources/legal or administration.

  • Operational experience (bar) with demonstrated work experience in; hiring, supervising, stock management, health, safety and ensuring licensing legislation is being observed.

  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience working at management or senior level in a professional environment.

  • Community/charity involvement with demonstrated examples of successful delivery of project/events.
