Congratulations to Sharon Bryan, who was recently recognised by local residents for her role with the Windrush Meal Venture, a network consisting of the Ebony Community Carers, Black Elders Day Centre, Friendship Café and the All Nations Community Centre.
The food project emerged during lockdown where there was a need as a result of the temporary closures of local day centres and luncheon clubs. The project caters for Stroke patients, those with dementia and or a disability. ANCC would like to also recognise: Linden, Annette, Vere, Carol and Cleo for their support.
